Curator-in-Residence Program

The Contemporary Dayton’s inaugural Curator-in-Residence (CiR) Program program seeks to help local artists find their voice and gain experience, and adds another layer of criticality and scholarship for our audiences.

Residents will work with us for a 1-2 year period, will receive a modest exhibition budget, administrative support, marketing assistance, and gallery space to fulfill bold visions for their art exhibitions.

Forming new creative partnerships and engaging the community through programming, our Curators-in-Residence will serve our mission to provide art for the community and a community for artists.

This year’s residents were selected by the Exhibitions & Programs committee.
